My Story, my design journey

 

 

I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Similar to New York, Rio city apartments are small and multifunctional, with a priority on optimal utilization of space and creative design. I started my relationship with interior design by repurposing furniture and rearranging friends' apartments in order to maximize their usable space.

I moved to the US several years ago and have graduated to remodeling entire houses, applying my cosmopolitan Latin taste to create a fusion of styles. 

 

I started Beloved Rooms in 2012 and since then I have been using my passion about design, repurposing materials and creating rooms with personal meaning. 

 

After a few years we get tired of a room. On some occasions I've found that the best solution is a complete remodel. However, not always! Sometimes wall painting, furniture rearrangement/rethinking, new lights and accessories are enough to make your family fall in love with your space  again. All you need is a new pair of trained eyes.
